Heart Roots — Lunar New Year Celebration
Created and facilitated by Nina Simone, Alicia Sunflower, and Greg Henderson, this community gathering is a prayer of love—for the Earth, for the Sovereign Nation of Hawai’i, for humanity, and for our local communities. For this 2026 Lunar New Year, we will come together for an intentional, rooted and playful Earth-based ritual to lay down our prayers of love as we start of the powerhouse year of the Fire Horse!
Part conscious dialogue and prayer, part sound healing and embodied mediation, part sacred fire and ecstatic dance on the aina and under the stars, part farm to table food and drinks—Heart Rootz is a sacred offering for our community from the heart and for the soul. Join us!

2:30-3:30pm Arrival, blessing and a chance to make offerings at the Ahu, pick fruit from the land, and settle in for our ritual

Community Grief Ritual —Weekend retreat (5/2 - 5/3)
This powerful indigenous earth-based ritual is one of true redemption and healing. Based in elemental wisdom, and the magic of the village, this Grief Ritual was gifted to the West by the Dagara people of West Africa via Sobonfu Somé, an African Spirituality teacher from Burkina Faso. Alicia Sunflower and Greg Henderson (co-facilitators of this ritual) have been initiated into this lineage by our teacher Maria Christina Owl.

A Portion of our proceeds will go directly to Wisdom Springs the nonprofit created by Sobonfu Somé to support the Dagara people and other rural indigenous communities to access clean water and support young girls to receive education.
As a part of creating a safe and well container, we do have an intake process.
Dagara Inspired Earth Based Ritual
Community Gratitude Ritual—Weekend Retreat (5/30 - 5/31)
This indigenous earth-based gratitude ritual is a ritual of renewal! It is one that helps us heal grief and stuck energy through the transformational practice of gratitude. Based in elemental wisdom, and the magic of the village, this Gratitude Ritual was gifted to the West by the Dagara people of West Africa via Sobonfu Somé, an African Spirituality teacher from Burkina Faso. Alicia Sunflower and Greg Henderson (co-facilitators of this ritual) have been initiated into this lineage by our teacher Maria Christina Owl.
